The obscure Robert Earl only seems to have recorded just this one 45 – but it is a cracker and no mistake. Love Will Find A Way is top drawer southern soul with a fully committed vocal and a classic instrumental arrangement. I can never get enough of this sort of music.
Carol was at one time distributed by Russell Sims eponymous Nashville based label – could it have been based in Tennessee? Or even Memphis? The music on this 45 was certainly recorded below the Mason / Dixon line and sounds like a Memphis track to my ears.
