Sadly this was to be the only record from big voiced Jessye Adams whose talent is clearly evident on Make Up Your Mind. He had a lovely rich tone and a tasty touch of the blues in his gospel based phrasing. And check out the tough attack. I like the prominent baritone sax in the arrangement, as well as the assistance Jessye gets from the female chorus. Superb early deep soul from the Windy City.

Flip is an easy swaying mid paced doo wop/gospel number.
