Charles Knight released two 45s on his own Knite Life label out of New York. The first was a fine “Soul Of Vietnam” ballad by Jocelyn, and the second was under his own name. On My Street is a strong uptempo offering which has reached the ears of the dancers, but I much prefer the catchy slowie Drip Drip On My Pillow. I like the doo wop influences in the catchy chord changes and harmony vocals, and the tastefully arranged full band. But best of all is Charles almost out of control screaming in the run out groove. Electrifying!
