Sir Shambling's Deep Soul Heaven

This obscure Dallas 45 has all the virtues of a tiny independent production - enthusiasm, intensity and a raw quality - plus the usual problems of poor sound values, no distribution etc etc. But to concentrate on the positive Bobby Curlee gives a fine demonstrative vocal performance on Love Waits For No Man, shouting out the refrain with convincing presence. The background of the Preachers is pretty good too. And although the guitarist plays some nice bluesy licks the least said about the meandering tenor sax the better I think.
