Like so many of her sisters from the Windy City, Bobbie Jean Bland sounded a pretty tough cookie on her only 45. The uptempo I’m Satisfied Just Loving You was a good vehicle for her rough toned vocals, and the ballad flip Do It also contains enough grit to keep any soul fan happy. The arrangement has that Chicago hard soul imprint – I just love it. The male chorus is a nice additional touch.
